and print again. Select the
icon, then I/O setup > I/O timeout.

you have forgotten to select that palette in Printing defaults menu > HP-GL/2

If you want the software-driven pen settings, you must remember to go to the
front panel and select the
icon followed by Printing defaults menu > HP-
GL/2 settings > Palette, and set it to Software.
