CLOCK TIMEZONE
Syntax
clock timezone <timezone> minus|plus <0-12>
no clock timezone
Parameters
timezone
Specifies a description of the timezone up to 6 characters
in length.
minus
Indicates the timezone is behind UTC.
plus
Indicates the timezone is ahead of UTC.
<0-12>
Specifies the offset, in hours, from UTC.
Description
Use the CLOCK TIMEZONE command to define the clock timezone in
hours. The timezone is set as an offset to the UTC of up to 12 hours. By
default, the system time is set to UTC.
Caution
Configure the time zone before setting the local time on the system.
If you set the time zone after setting the local time, the software
applies the new offset to the local time.
Use the no parameter to reset the system time to UTC.

Examples
To set the time zone to New Zealand Standard Time with an offset from
UTC of +12 hours, use the following commands:
switch#configure terminal
switch(config)#clock timezone NZST plus 12
