MAC ADDRESS-TABLE AGEING-TIME
Syntax
mac address-table ageing-time <10-1000000>
no mac address-table ageing-time
Parameters
ageing-time
Indicates the ageing time in seconds. Choose a value
between 10 and 1,000,000 seconds. The default is
300 seconds.
Description
Use the MAC ADDRESS-TABLE AGEING-TIME command to specify the
ageing time for an entry in a MAC address table. Use the no form to reset
this parameter.

“Displaying and Setting MAC Addresses” on page 32.

The following example sets the ageing time to 120 seconds:
switch# configure terminal
switch#(config)# mac address-table ageing-time 120
