11.14 Prefix/Suffix Auto Setting (North American users only)
With this function, E-mail can be transmitted by the same operation as usual
fax transmission.
Prefix and suffix are automatically attached to the fax number specified as
the address and edited as the E-main address. The E-mail address is com-
posed of [Prefix + Fax Number + Suffix].

To turn the [Prefix/Suffix Auto Setting] ON, setting the fax kit or fax des-
tination is required. Contact your service representative for more infor-
mation.
11.14.1Prefix/Suffix Auto Setting
When the [Prefix/Suffix Auto Setting] is turned ON, fax transmission or recep-
tion with the optional fax kit is disabled.[Fax Setting] of [Administrator Set-
ting] is also disabled.

Open the Administrator Setting screen (See “Entering Administrator
Setting” on page 11-3).

Press [System Connection].

Press [Prefix/Suffix Auto Setting].

Press [ON].

Press [OK].

Press [Close].

Set up for the E-mail transmission.

Register the Prefix/Suffix to [No.1] of [Prefix/Suffix Setting].
The Prefix/Suffix registered here is automatically added to the fax
number specified at the time of transmission.
