The STATUS LED changes as shown below as the battery charges.

When charging is completed, disconnect the camera from the AC

adapter.

Battery Level Display

When you turn the camera on, the level of charge in the battery appears on

the LCD monitor.

Lit red:

Charging

Lit green:

Charging completed

Blinking red:

Charging error

IMPORTANT

If a charging error occurs, first unplug the power cord from the mains

power socket. Once the battery has cooled down, remove it from the

camera and contact the Toshiba Support.
Charge the battery in the camera or in the optional charger. Never

attempt to charge the battery with another charger. Visit the Toshiba

website for information on the optional charger.

MEMO

To get the best possible performance from your battery, charge it when

the ambient temperature is between 50°F (10°C) and 86°F (30°C).
This battery does not need to be fully discharged or exhausted before

being charged.
The battery may feel warm after it has been charged or immediately

after being used. This is normal and not a malfunction.
Do not recharge a fully charged battery.
