Battery Recycling

Protect valuable resources by taking used batteries to an

authorized rechargeable battery recycling facility rather than

throwing them away.
When taking the battery to the recycling facility, cover the positive

and negative terminals with insulating tape or place the battery inside a

plastic bag.
Take the battery to your nearest recycling facility.

About the AC adapter

When you use the AC adapter, carefully read and observe the “Safety

Precautions” and the notes given below.

Handling the AC Adapter

Do not connect the supplied AC adapter to a device other than this

camera.
Do not use the AC adapter in very hot and humid places.
When connecting the AC adapter, fully insert the DC plug on the AC

adapter into the DC IN 10V terminal on the camera.
Turn the camera off before unplugging the AC adapter’s power cord or

disconnecting the DC plug.
Do not insert the DC plug on the AC adapter while the battery is being

used. Turn the camera off first.
The AC adapter is for indoor use only.
The AC adapter may sometimes become warm during use. This is

normal.
Buzzing noises may come from inside the AC adapter. This is normal.
Do not use the AC adapter near a radio as it could cause interference.
If you remove the battery or disconnect the AC adapter while the

camera is running, the date and time may be lost from the camera’s

memory. If this happens, reset the date and time.
