Erasing Individual Images

This section describes how to erase images one at a time. Note that you
cannot erase protected images (

p.94) or images on a locked SD card

(

p.12).

1. From the recording menu (

p.34) or play menu (

p.35), select

[ERASE].

Use the jog dial to select [ERASE] and then press the OK ( ) button.

2. Select [1 IMAGE].

Use the jog dial to select
[1 IMAGE] and then press the OK ( ) button.

3. Select the drive.

Move the OK ( ) button up or down to select the drive where the

image to be erased is located and then press the OK ( ) button.

4. Display the image to be erased.

Use the jog dial to select the image you want to erase.
If the image to be erased is not backed up (

p.139), the following

message is displayed: “THIS IMAGE IS NOT BACKED UP. ERASE

THIS IMAGE?”

ATTENTION

Erased images cannot be recovered.
