Using AudioSuite Plug-ins
The Sample Editor allows the use of AudioSuite plug-ins. These plug-ins work
destructively—the result of the editing process is written into the audio file.
Note: AudioSuite plug-ins can be used only with hardware addressed by the DAE
(Digidesign Audio Engine). Any properly installed AudioSuite plug-in will be displayed in
the AudioSuite menu.
When you choose AudioSuite > Buffer Size, you can set the buffer size of the Preview
mode. A smaller buffer size results in a faster response to plug-in setting changes while
previewing, but it requires more processing power.
