5 Configure Wireless Connection

In this function, the administrator can be allow or reject clients to access Virtual AP. Please
click on Wireless > Virtual AP Setup, then click button on column of MAC Filter Setup.
The MAC Filter Configuration page appears. Follow the below setting.
Action: Select the desired access control type from the drop-down list; the options are
“Disabled”, “Only Deny List MAC” or “Only Allow List MAC”.
Define certain wireless clients in the list which will have denied access to the Access
Point while the access will be granted for all the remaining clients – Action is set to
Only Deny List MAC.

MAC Address: Enter MAC address in this field. There are maximum 20 clients users
allowed in this MAC address list.
The MAC Address of the wireless clients can be added and removed to the MAC Filter List
using the Add and Delete buttons. Click Reboot button to activate your changes
*Note: MAC Access Control is the weakest security approach. WPA or WPA2 security
methods should be used when possible.
