settings Settings for e-mail messaging.
Selection of different possibilities for (optionally) logging
into the e-mail server

for the SMTP and if applicable the POP3 server.

After the server data and an e-
mail address are entered, a test
e-mail can be sent.
A status message is sent
daily by e-mail at this time
(with automatic mode).
Regardless of the daily status
message, an e-mail is sent
when an error occurs.
Other errors are only reported
if they occur after an
adjustable amount of time (in
this case 10 minutes).
