5 Device Management
Logging in on
the device Logging in to the device is only required for devices with internal user
administration (e.g. LOGOSCREEN cf).
Do not
log in The default setting of the software is that a user who is logged in is
automatically logged in to a device that is found with the user’s name and
password, and can thus communicate with this device.
Set option ( ) if you do not want to log in. Please note that, for example, the
following functions are not executable if you are not logged in (standard
setting):
- Fetch data
- Read data
In the device’s user list it is defined by standard rights which functions can be
executed by a user who is not logged in.
Save ID and
password If the option is active, the log-in to the device is made through the user ID and
password that are entered, regardless of who is currently using the PC
software.
In the following dialog window, click to select the interface you
want to use to access the device.
