6 Time Settings

Operating
periods Here you can set the periods of time for which the device is accessible, i.e. the
system is in operation. These settings are used to calculate the start dates/
times for activities (e.g. retrieving or reading out data, time synchronization,
and cyclic checks) and in this way also reserve specific time periods for other
programs.
Daily times These settings are intended for use when data need to be retrieved or read out
at a specific time of day.
