Installation backplane for 9400 axis module
The technical data must be taken into account when planning and dimensioning a DC−bus
interconnection.
Arrange the devices as follows for operation in DC−bus interconnection via the DC busbars:
ƒ
Mount the devices side by side from the left to the right.
ƒ
Install the supplying device on the left side:
– DC power supply module (in a first row),
– DC feeding point (in following rows).
ƒ
Install the Multi Drive axis controllers from left to right with decreasing powers.
ƒ
Single Drive axis controllers can be integrated to increase the braking power. These
axis controllers must be equipped with the optional busbar set (E94AZJAxxx).
Protective measures for the cables leading to an E94AZEX100 input module must be
dimensioned for a rated current of 100 A. If smaller cable cross−sections are used, the
fusing has to be adapted according to the applicable standards or technical rules. More
information can be found in the chapter "DC−bus operation" of the Hardware Manual.
