Using BOOTP to Configure Channel 1 for Processors on Subnets

BOOTPTAB

file according to the subnet mask and

gateway address for each SLC 5/05 processor on the link. See the
example below and the corresponding

BOOTPTAB

file on the

next page.

Important: Because BOOTP requests are seen only on the local

subnet, each subnet needs its own BOOTP server and

BOOTPTAB

file.
