Changing the Software Key The NI-FBUS Configurator software license has a default number of
links that you can configure. If you purchase additional licenses to
access more than the default number of links, contact National
Instruments to obtain a new software key.
After you obtain a new key, complete the following steps to change
the key:
1. Select View ⇒ Preferences and select the Links tab.
2. Click Show About Dialog.
The About window opens.
3. Click Set SW Key, enter the new key, and click OK.
4. Click OK to close the About window.
The number of Links Allowed changes based on the new
software key.
5. Click OK to close the Preferences window.
