Changing the filter
The flow must be stopped before changing the filter.
1 Removing the inline filter
■
Unscrew the pressure screws (49-1) from the inline filter.
2 Unscrewing the filter screw
■
Screw the filter screw (49-4) out of the filter housing (49-2) with
the aid of two 6.2621.000 adjustable wrenches.
3 Inserting the filter
■
Remove the old filter (49-3) with tweezers.
■
Place the new filter (49-3) flat in the filter housing with tweezers
(49-2).
4 Mounting filter screw
■
Screw the filter screw (49-4) back into the filter housing (49-2)
and tighten by hand. Then additionally tighten slightly with two
6.2621.000 adjustable wrenches.
5 Remounting the inline filter
■
Screw the pressure screws (49-1) back onto the inline filter.
6 Rinsing the inline filter
■
Dismantle the guard column (if present) and the separation col-
umn and replace with a 6.2744.040 coupling.
■
Rinse the instrument with eluent.
