Install pump tubings.

Connect aspirating capillaries for the regeneration solution and
the rinsing solution.

6 Installing the MSM

See Chapter 3.18, Page 55

Connect the MSM capillary labeled with H2SO4 to the outlet of
the pump tubing for the regeneration solution.

Connect the MSM capillary labeled with H2O to the outlet of the
pump tubing for the rinsing solution.

Guide the two MSM capillaries labeled with Waste through an
instrument's capillary feed-through to the waste container and fix
them there.

7 Connecting the instrument

Connect the instrument to the PC (see Chapter 3.22.1, page
69)
.

Connect instrument to mains supply (see Chapter 3.22.2, page
69)
.

8 Initial start-up

See Chapter 4.1, Page 74

Switch on the PC and start MagIC Net.

Switch on and prepare the instrument.

Deaerate the high pressure pump.

Rinse the instrument without column(s).

9 Connecting the columns

Remove the 6.2744.040 coupling between the column inlet capil-
lary and the MSM capillary labeled with Eluent.

Install the guard column (if used) (see "Connecting and rinsing
the guard column", page 71)

Install the separation column (see "Connecting and rinsing the
separation column", page 73)
.

10 Conditioning the instrument

See Chapter 4.1, Page 74

The instrument is now ready for measuring samples.
