Appendix G. APPENDIX VI - Interfacing to an External

Point-of-Sale

The POS4000 has the ability to communicate with External Point-of-Sale
(EXTPOS) equipment. This standard feature for Version 2 POS4000s allows: 1)
customers to purchase carwash codes at fuel pumps that have "pay at the pump"
capabilities, and 2) cashiers to sell carwash codes via the cash register. If this
feature is not present and you want to acquire it, you should contact your
carwash sales representative to order a software upgrade.

The exact carwash capabilities of each external Point-of-Sale system vary by
manufacturer, petroleum company, geographic location and current software
version. You should consult your Point-of-Sale representative for questions
about features of their equipment and how to use it.
