Safety Lights
The light package that your drill is equipped with, requires
that your tractor have the correct electrical connections.
Your tractor should be wired for a standard 7-pin electrical
connector which works with the tractor's flashers and turn
signals. All that should be necessary to hook up the lights
is to plug them into the tractor's 7-pin connector.
If your tractor is not equipped with a 7-pin connector,
please contact your local dealer for installation to your trac-
tor manufacturers specifications.
Connecting the Lights
Route the electrical cord from the end of each toolbar
through the wire retainer clip bolted to the end cap of the
feed cup tray on each wing box and plug them into the con-
nector on each light assembly. Leave some slack at the tool-
bar pivot to allow for box flex.
Acre Meter
Assemble the acre meter to the end of the main drive shaft
on the center section as shown in Figure 2-14. Record the
acres before you begin planting and subtract that number
from the final reading to get acres planted.
