Section 2 | Getting Started
You can access Artisan™ Link from any Link Workstation on the network. This section provides the
basics for getting started within Artisan™ Link. It explains how to:
 Ensure that Artisan™ Link instrument is up-and-running
 Log into Artisan™ Link
 Log out of Artisan™ Link
 Exit the software
Ensure that Artisan™ Link is Up-and-Running
Before you access Artisan™ Link, you need to complete the following tasks in the following order:
1. Turn on the power supply box.
2. Close the carousel cabinet door of the Artisan™ Link Instrument.
3. Turn on the computer.
Log into DakoLink
1. Double-click the DakoLink icon on the computer desktop.
A small screen appears that displays the version number and copyright information, followed
by the Log in dialog box.
2. Enter your User name and Password. The password is assigned to you by your Lab Manager
or System Administrator.
Note: The user name is not case-sensitive, but the password is case sensitive.
3. Click the Log in button. The Dako user interface displays.
