For a list of the current Dako Reagents, refer to the Dako website: http://www.dako.com .
IMPORTANT Be sure to select the correct country on the website. The selection button
is in the upper right-hand corner. Reagents can have different regulatory approval
statuses in different countries. You must use only those reagents that follow the
regulations required in your country. If you have questions concerning the reagent
approval status in your country, please contact your local Dako representative
Start the Run
You are now ready to begin the staining run.
1. Close the carousel door on the Artisan™ Link.
2. In the
Instrument Tab, click the Start button.
The instrument will scan the slides to identify them, and scan the reagents to verify that all
required reagents are available.
Note: The reagent scanning starts with position 1 and continues until three (3) blank
locations are encountered.
3. After the scanning has finished, one of the following will happen:
 The slide staining will begin automatically, or
 If your administrator has configured the system to prompt before starting the run, a
confirmation alert will appear. Click the OK button in the alert and the staining run will
begin.
