The Boat Data Export File

Boat Data Export is a data file you can enable to automatically track boat position
data at a specified interval (every five minutes by default) into a log file. The captain
or corporate owner can retrieve that file to track boat location history. This file
contains periodic data including:

Time-stamp in GMT
Lat/Lon location in decimal
Speed Over Ground (SOG) in kph
Course Over Ground (COG) in True
Heading (HDG)
Depth (both if dual) in km
River name
River mile mark, if available

This file is placed by default in a C:\JeppData folder as “boatname.txt”, but you can
change that location by modifying the ImportExportDirectory setting.

To Enable the Boat Data Export File

Close Workboat Navigator.
Open the Settings.xml file using an XML file editor, such as XML Notepad 2007.
Locate the BoatDataExportEnable setting using the Edit | Find function.
Change the Value from False to True.

NOTE:

The value False = Disabled; True = Enabled.

Save the file and close the XML editor.

Marine | WorkboatNavigator | 1.3.0.
