To Change the AIS Label Zoom Level
The ChartScaleShowAISLabels setting in the settings.xml file controls when targets
labels appear on the chart based on the specified zoom level.
Close Workboat Navigator.
Open the settings.xml file using an XML file editor, such as XML Notepad 2007.
Locate the ChartScaleShowAISLabels setting using the Edit | Find function.
Change the zoom level by typing a new value. The default is 80000.
Select File | Save; then close the file editor.
Summary of Special Customization
Some of the special customization you can make for Workboat Navigator customers
include:
Alarms—Change the duration of time between when the alarm(s) sound.
Heading Line—Change the color and width to make it more visible on charts.
River abbreviations—Change the list of river abbreviations so they make the
most sense to the customer.
Nav Info Layouts—Customize the Nav Info Panels to best meet the customer’s
usage and needs.
