Draft Mode

Purpose:

To save toner by printing in the draft mode. The print quality is reduced when printing in the draft mode.

Values:

 

LineTermination

Purpose:

To add the line termination commands.

Values:

 

Default Color

Purpose:

To specify the color mode to Color or Black. This setting is used for a print job which does not specify a print mode.

Value:

 

Wired Network

Use the Wired Network menu to change the printer settings affecting jobs sent to the printer through the wired network.

 

Ethernet

Purpose:

To specify the communication speed and the duplex settings of Ethernet. The change becomes effective after the printer is turned off and then on again.

Values:

 

TCP/IP

Purpose:

Disable* Does not print in the draft mode.

Enable

Prints in the draft mode.

Off*

The line termination command is not added.

CR=CR, LF=LF, FF=FF

Add-LF

The LF command is added.

CR=CR-LF, LF=LF, FF=FF

Add-CR

The CR command is added.

CR=CR, LF=CR-LF, FF=CR-FF

CR-XX

The CR and LF commands are added.

CR=CR-LF, LF=CR-LF, FF=CR-FF

Black* Prints in the black and white mode.

Color

Prints in the color mode.

NOTE:

Values marked by an asterisk (*) are the factory default menu settings.

Auto*

Detects the Ethernet settings automatically.

10Base Half

Uses 10base-T half-duplex.

10Base Full

Uses 10base-T full-duplex.

100Base Half Uses 100base-TX half-duplex.

100Base Full Uses 100base-TX full-duplex.
