Notes on digital zoom
• More than lOx zoom is performed digitally, and
the picture quality deteriorates as you go
toward the "T" side. If you do not want to use
the digital zoom, set the D ZOOM function to
OFF in the menu system.
• The v'ertical bar in the power zoom indicator
separates the optical zooming zone (left of the
bar [a]) and the digital zooming zone (right of
the bar
[b]).
if you set the D Zc5oM function to
OFF, the part to the right of the bar disappears.
• When using the digital zoom function, zooming
power is up to 40x.

Fixing the focus momentarily
Uso this function when the focus on the object
you want to record is unstable. Press FOCUS
LOCK with the desired object in focus while the
camcorder is in Standby or recording mode. The
focus is fixed while the fi is displayed on the
LCD screen.
Press FOCUS LOCK again to release this
function.
Fijación momentánea del
enfoque
Esta función se usa cuando el enfoque del objeto
que desea grabarse es inestable. Pulse FOCUS
LOCK enfocando el objeto que desee con la
videocámara en modo de espera o grabación. El
enfoque se fija mientras fi aparece en la pantalla
LCD.
Pulse FOCUS LOCK de nuevo para cancelar esta
