The
1014XL-S
and
814XL-S
lenses
incorporate
both a wide angle macro and telephoto macro
mechanism, useful for filming titles or small sub
jects such as insects or plants. Wide angle macro
provides
close-up
filming
by
switching
over to
macro
at
the
end
of
the
wide
angle
zoom.
Telephoto
macro
provides
close-up
filming
by
switching to macro with the focusing ring, at the
telephoto end of the zoom range. Each macro
mechanism produces different results.
