VIEWFINDER
The viewfinder gives you all the information you
need for knowing if exposure is correct, if the
film has reached its end or the batteries are
exhausted, how much film remains, whether it is
being
transported
correctly,
whether
the
recor
ding
level
is
alright
and
whether
exposure
is
being
controlled
manually.
The
viewfinders
of
both the 1014XL-S and 814XL-S include an aper
ture
indication
with
over
and
underexposure
warnings
and
a
manual
aperture
control
in
dication above the picture field, a footage in
dication on the left of the picture field and a
recording level indicator below the picture field.
An
END
warning
which
appears
in
the
lower
right corner of the picture field in the 1014XL-S
and a red LED warning which appears to the
right of the picture field in the 814XL-S complete
viewfinder
information.
All
indications
except
the
END
warning
(1014XL-S)
or
LED
warning
(814XL-S) become functional (if valid) when the
shutter
release
lever
is
pressed
halfway
and
remain active during filming. The END or LED
warning
appears
only
at
certain
times.
