Sequential Ploy

I Basic Play]

Slide [OPEN P-] to open the lid, and in­
sert the disc.

@ Label must face upward.

Press the area near the center hole of the disc
until It clicks Into position.

® Close the lid.

Connect the wired remote control and

the stereo earphones to the ['^^] jack.

(Plug in firmly.)

[Q] jack.

(Plug infirmly.)

Release the hold mode.

Press [►11].

Play now starts.

® Elapsed playing time of each track

Play stops automatically when all the tracks have
been played. .

5 Adjust the volume.

(If the unit has been connected to the car audio sys­

tem, set this unit’s volume to 10, then adjust the vol­

ume level on the system.)
+ : To increase the volume level
-: To decrease the volume level

The volume range is 0-25. (Press and hold to

change the volume successively.)

The volume changes when pressed while the level is
displayed. If any other display is shown, it changes to

show the current level. The volume returns to 10
when you disconnect the power source.

Resume function

The player stores the track where you stopped play and

if you press [► 11] (main unit) or [■/►] (remote control),

play resumes from the beginning of that track.

The resume function is canceled (play starts from the

first track) if you open the lid while the unit is in stop

mode. It is also usually canceled when you replace the

CD while the unit is otf.

•The resume function may work if you replace the CD

while the unit is off.

• If you turned the unit off near the end of the track, play

may resume from the beginning of the next track.

•The resume function works automatically and cannot

be turned off.

Note on CD-R and CD-RW

This unit can play CD-DA format audio CD-R and

CD-RW that have been finalized* upon completion of

recording. It may not be able to play some CD-R or

CD-RW due to the condition of the recording.

"Finalizing is a process that enables CD-R/CD-RW

players to play audio CD-R and CD-RW.
