Corrections

This typewriter has a one line correction memory that makes it possible to erase any

character or word automatically. This function, however, works only with the current

line.

Automatic Correction

Correcting One Character

CORRECT

To correct a character on the current line, use BACKSPACE to move the carrier to the

mistyped character, press CORRECT to erase, then retype the correct character.

NOTES:

Pressing CORRECT on a space moves the carrier back.

• Pressing

CORRECT

deletes the character positioned left of the cursor while in

centering, right margin flush, decimal tab, and UL modes.

Erasing One Word

To erase an entire word, position the carrier next to the right of last character on the

word and press WORD OUT The entire word is erased and you can retype.

NOTES:

Automatic erasing in progress can be stopped by pressing CORRECT.

Position the cursor to the space immediately to the right of the word to be deleted

while in centering, right margin
