Please check the shape of your daisy wheel cassette before replacing the
daisy wheeL The daisy wheel cassette type B cannot be used with this word
processor.
Changing Ribbons
This word processor uses ribbons enclosed in handy cassettes. Two types of ribbons
are available, Brother Correctable Ribbon model #1030 and Brother Nylon Ribbon
model #1032.
NOTE:
Use only Brother ribbons. Ribbons of different brands, or Brother ribbons other
than models #1030 and #1032 will not fit into the word processor, or could affect
the operation of the word processor.

Turn the power on and use TW/WP to switch the
word processor to the Typewriter application.
Use SPACE BAR and BACKSPACE to move the
carrier to the center of the platen.
