(Short MeSSageS DiSplay)
The reader can display short messages on screen
to alert users. There are 2 types of messages,
public and personal. User can view the public
messages all the time by pressing the asterisk (*)
button. The personal messages are assigned to
dedicated users only, and will be displayed only
to the intended users after his/her verification. You
can predefine the valid time period for the short
messages from the onset of the display until its
expiry period. The message will automatically be
erased from the memory after the expiry period.
While the short messages can be defined at the
reader, it is strongly advisable to do it using the
software. To do it via reader, follow the steps
shown below:
