&Q - Sync/Async Mode
This command determines the DTR operating mode. (Also, see \N.)
NOTE: When the &Q0 is issued to select the mode, the subsequent connect message will
report the DCE speed regardless of the W command and S95 settings.
Syntax
&Q[<mode>]
Defined Values
<mode > Decimal number corresponding to the selected mode:
0 Selects asynchronous operation in normal mode
(speed buffering)
1 Selects asynchronous operation in normal mode
(speed buffering)
2 Selects asynchronous operation in normal mode
(speed buffering)
3 Selects asynchronous operation in normal mode
(speed buffering)
5 Selects asynchronous operation in error correction
mode
6 Selects asynchronous operation in normal mode
(speed buffering)
Result Codes
OK <mode > = 0-3, 5, 6.
ERROR Otherwise.
