OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
AUTOMATIC ZIG-ZAG MECHANISM
With the aid of the Automatic Zigzag Sewing Mechanism, it is possible to perform various
stitches and embroidery automatically. This can be done by means of specially shaped discs, so
called cam, which are inserted in the Cam Holder on top of machine.
I he Cam is to de selcteb in accordance with the desired design. Each cam is indicated by a
specially made pattern and number, which refer to a corresponding number in the design chart.
In order to insert cam in the holder, open the cover and move the zigzag width lever to the point
of extreme right. After setting the desired cam, reverse the lever to ”0” position. In accordance
with your idea, each desired pattern can be obtained in the chart of the basic design. By the
control of the Stitch Length Dial, you can also vary the basic design as shown in the chart.
a) Normal Straight Stitching.
b) ZigZag Stitching.
c) Fancy Stitches, Applique, Monograms etc., by manual operation.
