6 BIOS
This chapter will guide you how to configure BIOS setup items. There will be detailed
description for each BIOS setup item in the following sections.
6.1 Entering the BIOS Setup Screen
To enter the setup screen, follow these steps:
Step 1: Power on the aTCA-6250.
Step 2: Press the <S> key on a USB keyboard when you see the following text prompt on
boot up screen.
Step 3: After you press the <S> key, the Main BIOS setup menu will be displayed. You can
access the other setup screen from the BIOS setup utility, such as CPU configuration, USB
configuration and so on.
6.1.1 Navigation
The BIOS setup/utility uses a key-based navigation system called hot keys. Most of
the BIOS setup utility hot keys can be used at any time during the setup navigation
process. These keys include <F1>, <F2>, <F3>, <F4>, <ESC>, <Enter>, <Arrow>
keys, and so on.
