O. Using a flat screwdriver, carefully separate the
filter from the bottom of the fuel pump. This
filter will be reused on the new pump at a later
step. (See Fig. q, Fig. r)
P. Detach the black corrugated fuel line that con-
nects the fuel pump to the canister at the can-
ister side by gently slitting the line along the
barbs as shown with a razor blade. (See Fig.
s.)
