X -25can be installed in several different ways. As a client on your existing data network, as a standalone
telephone system, or as the main data network.
Client on your existing network
When connecting the X -25 to your existing network, use only the Wide Area Network (WAN).
Installing the
X -25 as a Standalone telephone system:
The Cloud
ISP
Router
Switch

In this case only the WAN
port is used of your
X -25 is
connected and it is considered
a “Client” on your existing
Local Area Network.
In this case only the LAN
port is used and the
X -25
is installed as a standalone
system and not connected to
the Internet.
