Interfaces
Tokheim Communication
The Tokheim pump uses a modified RS-232 wiring and ships with an A channel, A to AB
channel, or A to A-B and B to A-B cabling schemes. The kits ship with 8-foot cable lengths.
Tokheim uses the Tokheim 180 cables to extend the communication runs. It can be ordered in
25, 50, and 100-foot custom made cables from Tokheim. Longer cables could be ordered in
the past. Tokheim DPTs use RS-485 half-duplex wiring. Distance between the CFN III and
DPTs through the Tokheim 69 Box could be up to 1000 feet with the use of two Gasboy
C05020 (RS-422/RS-485) Junction Boxes.
Wayne Communication
The Wayne pump and CAT uses RS-232 wiring. The Gasboy interface cables for the Wayne
pump (C05907) or Wayne CAT (C04654) are 8 feet in length.
The RS-232 wiring has an industry recommended length of 50 feet and a maximum
recommended length of 100 feet in metal conduit.

Gilbarco Pump and CRIND Device
The GilPump and GilCrind applications require a Gilbarco Universal Distribution Box.
This unit can handle a maximum of 32 Gilbarco pumps or 32 Gilbarco CRIND devices or a
combination of 16 pumps and 16 CRIND devices assuming all dual units. Single units reduce
the maximum number by one.
The Gasboy GilPump and GilCrind PC Loop Application kits can handle up to 16 pumps or
CRIND devices. Each Application kit using an available serial communications port.
Up to 32 pumps and CRIND devices are allowed.
• 4 Gilbarco Universal Distribution Boxes would be required.
• 2 each of the GilPump and GilCrind PC Loop Application kits would be required.
• This would require 4 available serial ports.
Tokheim Pump, DPT, and Insight
• The TokPump Application kit requires either a Tokheim 67 box or a Tokheim 98 box.
• The Tokheim 67 box can control up to 16 pumps/32 fueling positions while the Tokheim
98 box can only control eight pumps.
• For each 16 pumps to be controlled one TokPump Application kit using an available serial
communication port is required.
• 32 pumps would require two TokPump Application kit, two available serial
communication ports, and two 16-position Tokheim 67 boxes.
