Select a frequency that can be received using

the 1/2 buttons on the unit or the TUNING

/4 buttons on the remote controller and

then press the ENTER button.

Select the preset number in which to

register the station using the 1/2 button or
the numeric keys on the remote controller,
and then press the ENTER button.

Note:

Press the ENTER button within 4 seconds after

selecting the preset number. Registration is

canceled if the ENTER button is not pressed within

4 seconds.

Call up a preset number using the ∞/§

buttons on the unit or remote controller.
• Registered stations can also be called up

using the numeric keys on the remote
controller.

DELETING REGISTERED PRESET NUMBERS

Preset numbers can be erased by calling

up the number you want to erase and then
pressing the

7 button on the unit.

If you want to erase all preset numbers, be

sure to hold down the

7 button on the unit

for 3 or more seconds.

Call up the broadcast station you want to

give a name to.

Press the MODE button on the unit.

Specify the name using alphanumeric

letters (A to Z) and numbers (0 to 9) using
the 1/2 buttons and confirm using the
ENTER button.
• Select the space located between “Z”

and “0” to enter a space.

• Press the

7 button on the unit to erase

the last character entered.

• Hold down the

7 button on the unit for 3

or more seconds to erase all characters.

FM RECEPTION MODE

When FM is selected as the tuner band, it may
sometimes be difficult to receive broadcasts in
stereo when the signal is weak. In such cases,
be sure to switch the FM reception mode to
mono. This will help alleviate noise and make the
frequency easier to listen to.

Press the MODE button on the unit for 3 or

more seconds or the SET UP button on the
remote controller.

Select “FM STEREO/MONO” from the

menu by pressing the 1/2 buttons on the
unit or the VOLUME buttons on the remote
controller and then press the ENTER
button.

Select “MONO” using the 1/2 buttons

on the unit or the VOLUME buttons on
the remote controller and then press the
ENTER button.

• The default setting is STEREO.

Note:

FM reception mode settings can only be made when

the FM band is selected for the tuner.
