4.1 CANCELLATION OF CALIBRATION PARAMETERS

Measuring

To cancel calibration parameters
(and the symbol CAL) it is
necessary to recalibrate the
instrument with a resistance
higher than 5

Ω (for example with

disconnected test leads). When a
cancellation is made the screen
on the right
is displayed first,
followed by the screen below:

Message >5

Ω:

means that the
instrument detected
a resistance higher
than 5

Ω therefore it

will proceed with
Reset procedure.

The screen on the right is
displayed for 2 seconds
, after
which the instrument emits a long
sound signal
and then displays
the default screen relative to the
LOW

Ω test under AUTO mode.

Message rES:
means that the
instrument
cancelled the
calibration
parameter
(RESET) of the
calibration
parameters
