Preparation

Inserting the card
The following types of SD memory card (commercially available) can be used with this
camera: SD, SDHC, SDXC, and Eye-Fi.
Eye-Fi Cards
Read “Usable cards” (P. 144) before use.

Open the battery/card
compartment cover.

Slide the card in until it is locked
into place.

• Turn off the camera before loading or removing the battery or card.
• Do not forcibly insert a damaged or deformed card. Doing so may damage the card
slot.

compartment cover.
• Be sure the battery/card
compartment cover is closed before

 Removing the card
Press the card in to eject it. Pull out the
card.
• Do not remove the battery or card
while the card write indicator (P. 21 ) is
displayed.
