Playing and stopping a pattern (During pattern edit)

When you press the STEP button, the following is displayed.

As in Live mode, press the

(PLAY) button to play or stop the pattern. You can

pause a pattern by pressing the

(PLAY) button while holding down the

SHIFT button.

Changing the tempo

Time and groove

To change the timescale for the clock or edit the number of steps in the pattern,

turn the parameter knob while holding down the TIME button. You can also set

each part by pressing the TIME button while holding down the PART button.

RATE

[Global (only the part setting), 32nd, 16th, 8th]

Changes the playback speed of the pattern for the clock. The default is 16th. If the

value is set to 8th, the speed is halved, and if set to 32nd, the speed is doubled.

TRIPLET

[Global (only the part setting), OFF, ON]

Turn it on to increase the speed by 1.5 times triplets.

LENGTH [1...64]

Allows you to change the pattern length in steps.

Also, you can produce various groove feelings by applying the groove type that re

-

produces the swing and the playing style of a typical instrument to the pattern data.

TYPE

Select the groove type. The groove type is a 16-step preset template that summa

rizes the timing and velocity change amount for each step.
