3 Scanner Adjustments

Adjusting the input

tray

You can adjust the input tray to accommodate your scanning needs.

Adjusting the side guides

— the side guides can be moved in or out to

accommodate document size. When adjusting the side guides, place your

hands on the bottom of the side guides, over the slots in the tray to slide the

guides in and out.

• Adjusting the input tray for document length

— the input tray extender

has two positions. When you are scanning lettersize or A4 documents in

landscape mode, you do not need to pull out the input tray extender.

Document lengths up to 11 inches / 27.94 cm

— pull the extender out

to the first position.

Document lengths from 11 to 17 inches / 27.94 to 43.2 cm

— pull the

extender out to the full position.
