U
se the Diagnostics option to view scanner events that have occurred during
the current power cycle, or to perform various calibrations.
Operator Log
- displays scanner events that have occurred since the last time
the scanner was powered on. Each event entry lists time of occurrence, error
code, and a description of the event. For example, “Scanner Failed
Initialization, Call Service.”

Multifeed Calibration
- initiates multifeed calibration (see “Perform a
Multifeed Calibration” on the troubleshooting page online at
AlarisWorld.com/S2000f-S3000-troubleshooting
.

Count Only
- to count the documents in the elevator without scanning them,
select
Count Only
and follow the steps on the scanner screen. The total
number of documents will be displayed in the status area.

Count Only Multifeed
- this option allows you to count documents without
scanning, however, when a multifeed is detected, the scanner will stop.
Clear the multifed documents and press the Pause/Resume button to
continue scanning.

Flatbed Calibration
- flatbed image calibration is performed at the factory.
This may only be need after a flatbed firmware update (this is a rare
occurrence).

Touchscreen Calibration -
Touch screen calibration is used to verify that
the touch points on the touch screen are working correctly. The touch screen
is factory-calibrated; this should not be performed unless directed to do so
by Technical Support.
