Problems Specific to Your Network Environment

NetWare environment

Nothing prints even though clients have sent data to the
printer.

Cause

What to do

Clients may not be
registered, or the interface
card may not be logged in to
the NetWare server.

Make sure clients are registered as
users of the print queue and the print
server. Also, make sure the interface
card is logged in to the NetWare server.

Print Server mode or Remote Printer
mode, see Chapter 3 or your NetWare
manual.

EpsonNet WinAssist does not start correctly.

Cause

What to do

Microsoft NetWare
Directory Service is
installed in your computer.

If you are using NDS service, use
Novell NetWare Client32.

It takes long time to start EpsonNet WinAssist.

Cause

What to do

Novell Client service is
installed.

Double-click Network in Control
Panel, then double-click the
appropriate network adapter. Clear the
items related to IPX to unbind IPX.
