STEP 8: Set up Windows for a New Modem
1. Windows 2000 — Go to Start | Settings | Control Panel | Phone and
Modem Options.
Windows XP — Go to Start | Control Panel | Phone and Modem Options.
2. Click on the Modems tab, then click Add…

Check Don’t detect my modem; I will select it from a list. Click Next>.
