If for any reason you do not understand the test procedures or are unable to perform the tests/repairs safely,
contact the Lincoln Electric Service Department for technical troubleshooting assistance before you proceed.

CAUTION
The machine will NOT shut off. 1. Make sure the three phase input
lines are connected to the
machine correctly.
2. Contact your local Lincoln
Authorized Field Service
Facility.
1. The input line switch may be
faulty. Replace.
The output voltage cannot be pre-
set.
1. Place the remote switch in
machine control. If normal oper-
ation is restored then the remote
control unit may be faulty.
Check or replace.
2. If an error message is displayed
see

Messages.
1. Check the output control (R2)
and associated circuitry.
2. The meter board may be faulty.
Replace.
3. The control board may be faulty.
Replace.
