Bedside Unit Memory

The bedside unit stores up to 2500 QC and
patient test results in its memory. Additionally,
the lot IDs for test strips and control, linearity,
and unknown solutions are also stored in
memory. This information can be accessed by
selecting Review Data from the Main Menu.

When bedside unit memory is low (less than
100 tests available), the message Data Memory
Low
appears.

When the bedside unit memory is full, a
message appears informing you that there is no
room for test data. To continue using the
bedside unit for testing, you must perform a
data transfer session to upload the data to the
workstation and free the bedside unit’s memory.

Accessing Memory to Review Data

You may review patient, QC, linearity, and
unknown solution test results. In-Service test
results are not available for review. You may
also review a list of test strip lot numbers and
reagent lot numbers.
