S96 Trellis Multipoint (TMp) Tx Preemphasis. Provides amplification for
frequencies above the carrier frequency to compensate for high frequency line
attenuation.
Register has the following values:
0 = Enable
1 = Disable
The factory setting is Enable.

S97 Reduced Asynchronous Buffer Size. Register limits the modem’s buffer size to
a maximum of 20 characters.
