This menu item allows you to access the sub-menues of the
CI module inserted. By confirming with

OK, you can display

information relating to the CI module inserted as well as to
the smart card being used.
Manual initialising of the CI module

You can initialise the CI module manually by pressing
the

red function key CI Reset.

9 Operating a rotary antenna installation

(DiSEqC 1.2)

Your digital receiver is ready to operate a motorised rotary
antenna installation The DiSEqC control function (DiSEqC
level 1.2) allows you to control a suitable motor via the co-
axial cable.

Call up the menu

Antenna settings as described

under Point 6.4 (Fig. 9-1) and switch the

DiSEqC

control (Point 6.4.1) to on.

>

Now use the

up/down arrow keys to select the

DiSEqC position (e.g. A/B 3) to which you wish to
allocate the motorised antenna.

>

Press

OK to open a window allowing you to select a

Satellite resp. the option Motor antenna. (Fig. 9-
2)

>

Use the up/down arrow keys to select the line

Motor

antenna and confirm by pressing OK.

>

Confirm the screen prompt (Fig. 9-3) regarding the
setting or Eastern and Western limits by pressing

OK.

9.1 Eastern and Western limits

To avoid potential mechanical damage to the dish antenna or
the LNC by any obstacles, you must first determine the
maximum range of movement/rotation in both an easterly and
westerly direction. If there are any obstacles within the
rotating range of the antenna, such as walls or
chimnies,these must definitely be considered when setting
the easterly and westerly limits.
If there are no obstacles within the rotating range of the dish,
then set the limits of the rotation in such a manner that the
dish can move a little further than is strictly speaking required
to receive signals from the most extremely positioned
satellites.

9.1.1 Deleting existing limits

You should first of all delete any existing limit settings.

Use the

left/right arrow keys to mark the column

LNC test.

>

In the line

Motor antenna use the up/down

arrow keys to mark the field Continue.
