Linearisation
The relation of level and filling volume is
described with so called linearisation curves.
If in your vessel there is another than a linear
dependence between the level ("
percentage
value" of the level) and the filling volume
("
Linearised"), choose the menu "Instrument
data/Parameter adjustment/Conditioning"
• Click in the menu window " Conditioning" to
the menu point " Linearisation Linearisation Linearisation Linearisation Linearisation".
In the menu window " Linearisation" you see
that " Linear" is preadjusted. This means that
the dependence between the percentage
value of the filling volume and the value of the
level is linear.
Beside the two given linearisation curves
"
cylindrical tank" and "spherical tank" you can
also enter six " user programmable curves".
• Click to " User programmable curve User programmable curve User programmable curve User programmable curve User programmable curve" and
then to " Edit Edit Edit Edit Edit".
Set-up - Adjustment with the PC on VEGALOG
As parameter you can choose "dimensionless
(figures), volume, mass, height and distance"
and coordinate to the parameter the
appropriate unit (e.g. litres, hl). The sensor
indication then displays the figure in the
selected paramenter and unit.
• Save the adjustments in the menu " Scaling"
with " OK OK OK OK OK".
The adjustments are now transferred to the
sensor and you are again in the menu
window "
Conditioning".
• Click in the menu window " Conditioning" to
" Quit Quit Quit Quit Quit"
• Click in the menu window " Instrument data
parameter adjustment" to "Quit Quit Quit Quit Quit"
